Celebrity #1 Jennifer Aniston’s Work Out Routine

Before I write anything else I want you to hear this LOUD & CLEAR…..LOVE THE BODY GOD HAS BLESSED YOU WITH!  You have been made exactly the way you are! If you are a little shorter or taller than most people -embrace it!  If you by nature have always been  a little heavier or slender than others -embrace it!  That doesn’t mean you can’t create goals for yourself or that you shouldn’t desire change.  We should all desire to change ourselves.  My goal is to be strong both physically and mentally and to challenge myself in some way every day, to try different things.  I want to let go of the negativity.  Let go of downing myself based on my weight and appearance.  Each day I should thank God for creating me and I hope you thank him for creating you.  I do admit that sometimes it takes being in total despair to get pulled out of it.  That’s what our God is doing for me.  He is pulling me out of the darkness, not quickly, but just the way he has planned. He can pull you out of the darkness too, but you have to let him. Let go and listen.

In order to love the body you have, you need to take care of it.  Fuel your body with the food it needs and enjoy the food you are putting in your body.  Food was made to be enjoyed.  I can tell that the best food I have ever had are whole foods….apples, pumpkin, squash, nuts, tomatoes, etc.  Foods with color and great tastes. I feel so amazing after I eat something that I know is doing good things for my body. Sounds a little looney, but I image my body thanking me and smiling when I do good things for it. I have noticed since I began working out again that now I crave my workouts.  I love doing them in the morning and when I can’t get to them I feel a little bummed.  I desire to do the movements.  I can’t say I felt that way when I started.  Newton’s Law is so true, “An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion.”  When I’m not working out -I don’t want to start.  When I’m working out- I don’t want to stop.  It just feels so good.

So then if I think it’s important to love your own body, then why??? am I focusing on Celeb workouts.  Well, I’m not focusing on transforming into these women. I don’t want to.  I don’t want to be them, look like them, have their life- I like my life.  However, the celebs I’m focusing on are highly paid celebrities that are HEALTHY and stay in great shape.  Let’s face it, they have the money to pay for the very best trainers.  They can transform in a matter of a few months to play a role.  They know what works for them.  I think we each have something that works best for us and I’d love to find that balance that makes me feel at my very best.  The great thing is that some of the routines and workouts the celebs do, I have never done.  It’s fun to try new things.  PLEASE do not get focused on looking like these people.  Remember that’s not the point, the point is to try new things to make staying in shape fresh and fun.  I can’t promise that these routines are 100% legit because these people are not my friends, but I will do my best to find out their routines.  I have decided against not taking part in their diets because I don’t think after having an eating disorder that I’m at that point, maybe I’ll never be.  I don’t think that’s a good idea for me.  However if you want to try, go for it.

The first Celeb I’ve researched is Jennifer Aniston.  I felt like a stalker when googling all these things about her, but oh well.

Here’s what I found:

Jennifer Aniston does at least 22 minutes of Cardio Intervals on the treadmill or elliptical (that means run/walk to raise and lower heart rate for increased fat burn) before doing Yogalosophy.  Yogalosophy is a type of yoga.  I found it to be more challenging than the typical yoga I’ve done.  It’s more than holding poses and stretching.  It burn’s!  She works with the creator of Yogalosophy, Mandi Ingber  at least 3 times a week and sometimes up to 2 hours a day!  Since I don’t have 2 1/2 hours each day to spend doing yoga and cardio I’ve decided to have this schedule to get the time in.

Instead of 3 days a week, I’ll be working out 6 days a week.  I will do 22 minutes of cardio intervals.  I min run – 30 sec walk before doing yoga. Then I will do 30-60 minutes of Yoga.  I signed up for 1 month of free yoga at this site.  http://www.gaiamtv.com/tv/mandy-ingbers-yogalosophy-yoga-video#play/4937 – you can sign up, but if you don’t want to keep it after a month put a message in your calendar to cancel it in one month otherwise they will charge your credit card.

Jennifer Aniston’s Diet: The Zone Diet- one must eat a ratio of 40% carbs, 30% protein, and 30% body fat. Basically you must eat whole lean proteins, whole foods, and low starchy fruits.  You can go to this site for more info http://zonediet.com/123

I will focus on one celeb’s work out routine for two weeks and then switch.  A month just seems to long, but a week doesn’t seem long enough.  I hope we all find a new workout we love and I hope we feel great while doing something good for ourselves.  I can’t wait.  I started yesterday, just to get an idea.  I ran outside (it was cold) for 22 minutes.  Ran 1 min, walked 30 sec.  Then I did this video  http://vdownload.eu/watch/758351-yogalosophy.html.  Loved it.  I loved reading all the inspiring messages as I worked out.  Have a great HUMP day! te-he!
